††††††††††† PACIFIC TAKES SECOND OVERALL AT CAL SEASON OPENER

On September 18, 2009 Pacific Speech and Debate traveled to San Francisco, to compete in CAL Season Opener. Over 22 schools were in attendance and Pacific Students did amazingly well! This tournament was a ìswingî tournament and combined 2 tournaments in one weekend. In impromptu speaking for the first tournament, Pacific had five out of the six finalists and in extemporaneous Pacific had four out of six!† Over three days of competition, Pacific finished second overall in school sweepstakes. Next Pacific travels to California Double-Up, another swing tournament held at Azusa-Concordia.
